This time Diwali Celebrations in the USA are touching new heights. The Indians in the United States are planning some huge celebrations for the Festival of Lights. The US government also recognized Diwali as a festival and declared it a holiday for schools. Telugu Literary and Cultural Association has planned a huge Diwali Celebration event on November 4th, 2023. The event will start at 3 PM while the dinner will be hosted between 5.30 PM to 6.30 PM.

The nomination filing process will kickstart today in Telangana for the elections that will be conducted on November 30th. The nominations could be filed from November 3rd to November 10th on working days from 11 AM to 3 PM, states the official release. The candidates who receive B-forms from the respective parties are quite enthusiastic to file their nominations. There will be a huge number of independents that are going to file their nominations as well.
General and BC Categories should have to pay a deposit of Rs. 10,000 while for the SC and ST, they have to pay Rs. 5,000. The nominations would be scrutinized on November 13th while the EC gave November 15th as the deadline to withdraw the nominations.
The polling will be held on November 30th and the counting of votes will happen on December 3rd. BRS, Congress, and BJP are the major parties that are contesting in this term of elections.
Tharun Bhascker is known for his whacky kind of comedy. It worked big time with Pelli Choopulu and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. This time after a gap of five years, he has come up with another “his” kind of comedy entertainer titled Keeda Cola. Right from the title, the movie looked interesting. The film was released today. Check out the review.
Story:
Jeevan (Jeevan Kumar) wants to be a corporator and for this, he brings Naidu (Tharun Bhascker) into the picture. On the other hand, another gang, Vaasthu (Chaitanya Rao) and his grandfather Varadharaju (Brahmanandam) master a plan for compensation, and their lives get intertwined with Jeevan and Co. What happens next? What have their stories to do with Keeda Cola?
Performances:
Though he has not promoted himself much as an actor, Tharun Bhascker is the main lead of this film. His performance is very good. His comedy timing is excellent. Chaitanya Rao plays Vaasthu who has Tourette Syndrome. He pulled it off with ease. Brahmanandam plays a crucial character but the expectations of his character haven’t been met. Jeevan Kumar gets a fine role and he is okay. Vishnu Oi shines in his typical character. Rag Mayur is fine. The rest of the characters are all right.
Technicalities:
The biggest letdown with Keeda Cola is the writing. The too-thin storyline doesn’t sit well with the audience. The screenplay isn’t that effective either. Tharun Bhascker however made it up to an extent with some whacky dialogues and situational one-liners. The comedy worked too well in parts. However, there are some boring sequences as well.
Vivek Sagar’s music is another major plus point for the movie. All the songs come in the background and are decent. The highlight should be the background music. AJ Aaron’s cinematography work is quite exquisite. The editing is decent and the production values are good. As a director, Tharun Bhascker did a decent job.
Analysis:
Keeda Cola is another whacky kind of comedy crime drama. With almost no storyline, Keeda Cola seemed to be struggling but the performances and strong technical support saved the film. Overall, Keeda Cola is not a wholesome entertainer. It has its flaws but could be enjoyed once if you like Tharun’s style of taking.
Prabhas’ latest action adventure Salaar is getting released on December 22nd and already the excitement is building up. Prashant Neel is the director of the movie. The combination of Prabhas and Prashant Neel lit up the eyes of the moviegoers. Salaar’s first teaser lived up to the expectations.
Now, in the second week of November, the trailer of the movie will be released. As per the latest update, Prashant Neel has canned a major action sequence for the movie and it is one of its kind. It is said that the director has used more than 750 vehicles for this action sequence.
750 different kinds of tanks, trucks, jeeps, and others were brought on location for this particular action sequence. Except for a song the entire shooting of Salaar was completed and this song will be shot in November. Prabhas will return to Hyderabad in a few days. He was resting in Europe after undergoing knee surgery.

It’s an embarrassing defeat for Sri Lanka. India have registered seven wins in a row in the ongoing World Cup. By doing so, the team India has qualified for the semifinals and become the first team to qualify for the mega tournament.
Interestingly, Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to field first. India got a shocker early in the match as Rohit Sharma got out to a beauty by Madhushanka. However, Gill and Kohli steadied the innings. They first settled and then took the attack to the opposition. Sadly, Gill got out for 92 and Kohli made 88. Shreyas Iyer who hasn’t been in form scored a brilliant 82 in just 56 balls. As a result, India made a fluent 356.
Chasing a mammoth total, Sri Lanka faced horror. The scoreboard reads 2/3 in just no time and then it transformed to 14/6. Bumrah, Siraj, and Shami, all were brilliant. Shami picked a five-wicket haul as Sri Lanka got bundled out for just 55. With this win, India is back at the top of the points table.
It’s raining cases for the Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP supremo recently got a bit of relief in the Skill development Case as the High Court granted bail on medical grounds. Currently, he is being checked at the AIG Hospitals for the cataract surgery. However, that didn’t stop the cases against Chandrababu. This morning a case was filed against Chandrababu Naidu and the organizers of the rally conducted in Hyderabad which caused a nuisance for the public for around 2 hours.
Now, a case was filed by the AP CID upon the complaint by the APMDC (AP Mining Development Corporation) in the state for sand irregularities. In this case, they have named Peethala Sujatha as A1, Chandrababu Naidu as A2, and Chintamaneni Prabhakar as A3. In the complaint, it was stated that due to illegal mining, the government had faced huge losses. It is alleged in the case that this scam was committed in the guise of providing free sand to the poor.
Universal Star Kamal Haasan is celebrating his birthday tomorrow and on this special occasion, an INTRO of his upcoming film Indian 2 will be unveiled. Indian 2 is a big-budget film that is being directed by Shankar. It is the sequel to the classical blockbuster Indian which was released way back in the year 1996.
The movie’s shooting is going on at its own pace and according to the latest update, the intro of Indian 2 will be released in four Indian languages, and four top personalities in the Indian Cinema are going to unveil them.
For Tamil, Kamal Haasan’s dear friend Super Star Rajinikanth will be giving the intro. SS Rajamouli will be for Telugu. The Kannada version will be released by Kichha Sudeepa and for Hindi, it will be Aamir Khan. These intros will be out at 5:30 PM. A new case has been filed on the Telugu Desam Party leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad. The case was registered at the Begumpet Police Station for organizing a rally that violated the code of elections. The Police received the complaint under sections 341, 290, and 21, in conjunction with section 76 of the CP Act, sub-inspector Jayachander filed the case under 531/2023.
The complaint states that the rally has no Police permission and it caused a huge disturbance to the public for over two hours. Chandrababu Naidu who was released from Rajahmundry Central Jail on interim bail reached Hyderabad the other day to undergo medical tests. He had to undergo cataract surgery. Upon reaching Hyderabad, Chandrababu Naidu was warmly welcomed by a large gathering of TDP fans and supporters.
The bail was granted on medical grounds for four weeks and the TDP chief had to surrender on November 28th, on or before 5 PM.
An interesting combination of Shahrukh Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani is happening with the movie Dunki. The film is slated for Christmas weekend release and a lot has been riding about the project. Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu are playing important characters in the movie. The teaser of the film, Dunki Drop 1 was released on the occasion of SRK’s birthday today.
As per the teaser, the movie talks about the migration of people from India to London. The sensitive topic has been dealt with in a humorous way. SRK is too good in the teaser. His comic timing is impeccable. All the important characters have been introduced in this movie.
If Dunki manages to live up to the expectations of what the project has built and also what the teaser promises, then surely the sky is the limit at the box office. SRK is in golden form with back-to-back hits in the form of Pathaan and Jawan. Now, will he complete a hat-trick with Dunki in 2023?
