Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has affirmed that the 4% reservation for Muslims will remain intact, despite ongoing debates with the BJP and other opposition leaders.
Speaking in Kurnool, he criticized Chandrababu Naidu for aligning with the BJP, which opposes the Muslim reservation, yet seeking minority votes. Jagan questioned Chandrababu’s alliance with the NDA, given its stance on scrapping the 4% quota.
Regarding the upcoming elections, Jagan highlighted that voting would impact ongoing schemes and household development. He warned that supporting Chandrababu would halt the government’s welfare initiatives.
Jagan further criticized Naidu’s 14-year tenure, highlighting the YSRCP’s inclusive welfare approach without religious or caste discrimination.
