
A new case has been filed on the Telugu Desam Party leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad. The case was registered at the Begumpet Police Station for organizing a rally that violated the code of elections. The Police received the complaint under sections 341, 290, and 21, in conjunction with section 76 of the CP Act, sub-inspector Jayachander filed the case under 531/2023.
The complaint states that the rally has no Police permission and it caused a huge disturbance to the public for over two hours. Chandrababu Naidu who was released from Rajahmundry Central Jail on interim bail reached Hyderabad the other day to undergo medical tests. He had to undergo cataract surgery. Upon reaching Hyderabad, Chandrababu Naidu was warmly welcomed by a large gathering of TDP fans and supporters.
The bail was granted on medical grounds for four weeks and the TDP chief had to surrender on November 28th, on or before 5 PM.
