TDP’s Chittoor Lok Sabha candidate, Daggumalla Prasad Rao, praised Home Minister Amit Shah’s pledge to finish the Polavaram project within two years if NDA wins in Andhra Pradesh. Prasad Rao, a retired IRS officer, called Polavaram crucial for the state’s prosperity, noting its stalled progress under YSRCP’s rule.

He highlighted NDA’s past support for Polavaram and criticized YSRCP for neglecting irrigation projects like Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi and Galeru-Nagari, causing drought issues in Rayalaseema.

Prasad Rao highlighted Amit Shah’s commitment to completing these projects and transforming Rayalaseema into fertile land. He expressed hope for NDA’s victory to revive stalled developments and bring prosperity to Andhra Pradesh.
