It is very well known that Elon Musk the new boss of Twitter has decided to cut off the workforce by almost 50 percent. It’s a shocker to the employees who work in the USA on an H1-B visa. It is a Non-immigrant working visa that will give the opportunity to work for three to six years.

Now, with the layoffs, the employees have no option but to search for a new one in 60 days buffer time. If not, they will have to leave the nation. After getting their emails, the laid-off employees are sharing their thoughts on the microblogging platforms.

Ruchita Pereira, a software employee at Twitter has been given the pink slip. “Unfortunately, I was among the 50% of employees who were affected due to layoffs at Twitter. I am currently on an H1B visa and have limited time to find another opportunity” she shared on LinkedIn.

Sushmita S Natarajan, another software employee shared that she was on the list of laid-off employees and she needs a job in 60 days.
