After Elon Musk took over Twitter he brought many changes to the company. He made Bluetick subscription-based and also put many restrictions on the users. At a time when Twitter users are looking for the best alternative, Mark Zuckerberg, META head brought Threads, an alternative to Twitter.
Threads had the best opening after launched. It crossed 2 Million downloads in 2 hours and 5 Million downloads in 4 hours. Responding to a similar question Mark said that it will take some time. “I think there should be a public conversations app with 1 billion+ people on it. Twitter has had the opportunity to do this but hasn’t nailed it. Hopefully, we will,” he said.
Hours after launching threads, Mark posted a tweet which is his first after 11 years. This is a meme where Spiderman pointing at Spiderman.
