On the eve of India’s Independence Day, a special event called ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav‘ was organized by the Indian government to pay tribute to the freedom fighters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads the nation in celebrating Independence Day. He hoisted the National Flag and address the nation.
During the unfurling of the National Flag, the Air Force Band consisting of 20 men played the National Anthem. After unfurling, the national flag received the honourary Rashtriya Salute. two MI-17 1V Helicopters showered flower petals at the venue in Amrit Formation. National Cadet Corps (NCC) sang the National Anthem after Narendra Modi’s speech.
792 Cadet Corps from different schools took part in this celebration. In view of the 76th National Independence Day, special arrangements have been made in New Delhi’s Red Fort. Over 10,000 police personnel were deployed to ensure full security.
