Narendra Modi is one of the few charismatic leaders we have across the world. His image has grown multifold over the years and he is one of the influential leaders spanning countries. The BJP followers term him as ‘Vishwa Guru’ and they are confident that Modi is going to lead them for another 5 years.
While this is one point, the affidavit of Narendra Modi is always a talking point. Especially, the marital status declaration of Narendra Modi has varied over different elections and this became a sort of weapon for the opposition.
Before the 2014 elections, Narendra Modi declared that he was married to Jashodaben but cut to the 2019 elections, Modi has left the marital status column blank. He didn’t even mention her address, properties, and insurance details. Congress party is now alleging that Modi has contradicted his declarations and this is nothing but breaching the election code of conduct. They are demanding the Election Commission take necessary action against Narendra Modi for falsely submitting details in the affidavit.
Keeping this aside, Narendra Modi is going to file his nomination soon from Varanasi where elections will happen on June 1st. It has already turned interested in how his affidavit is going to be this time.
