Releasing Jersey a week after KGF Chapter 2‘s run has proved to be a deadly blow. Jersey is completely struck with KGF 2 mania. While the latter already became the Hindi version’s third-biggest hit, Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey is running towards disaster.
Jersey has got Okayish reviews. Many have complimented the conviction of the director Gautham Tinnanuri. Shahid Kapoor’s brilliant acting has won rave reviews as well. Jersey has been a stunner at the box office. The movie has only collected Rs. 16 Cr Nett over the weekend. The movie might end up collecting Rs. 25 Cr at the maximum.
All we can say is that Jersey is going to be one of the biggest disasters in the Hindi Cinema. They made the mistake of releasing the movie a week after the KGF 2 release and had paid the price.
