It is very well known that Bellamkonda Srinivas did the remake of Chatrapathi in Hindi. He has reprised the role of Prabhas in the Hindi version. VV Vinayak was selected as the director of the movie. Pen Studios produced this movie on a lavish scale. The production got completed long back. However, there is no update about the film after that.
There are several speculations regarding this. It is said that Pen Studios is not satisfied with the output that they are thinking about the next plan of action. They are also worried that the film has no buzz whatsoever and they had to shell out huge bucks for the project to be in the limelight. On top of all these, Bollywood is going through a rough phase that even top Bollywood hero movies are bombing at the box office.
So, it is said that the release plans are kept on hold as of now.
