APCC president YS Sharmila urged people to vote out the YSRCP, accusing her brother and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of deceiving them with promises of special category status for the state.

Sharmila claimed that both the TDP and YSRCP are competing to serve the BJP, challenging Jagan to showcase a single development project initiated by his government. She questioned the status of the Polavaram project and the location of the capital city.

Sharmila insisted to the people of Andhra Pradesh that only the Congress party could deliver special status to the state and successfully execute the Polavaram project.

Expressing disappointment in Jagan’s governance, Sharmila criticized him for failing as Chief Minister. She highlighted that all schemes implemented by Jagan were crafted during their father, YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s, tenure under the Congress government.
