Prabhas’ recent outing with Adipurush has opened to good numbers all over. Though the film received mixed talk all over, Adipurush’s day 1 numbers are so good. The film entered Rs 100 Cr club on day one itself. On the whole, Adipurush collected Rs. 114 Crores gross and the share stands at Rs. 65.68 Crores.
Adipurush did an excellent pre-release business of Rs. 271 Crores. So, though the start is good, Adipurush needs to maintain well on the weekend to sustain the momentum. However, it is doubtful with the talk the film is carrying whether it will reach breakeven or not. The positive is that the film had excellent advance bookings.
Overall, Adipurush’s opening numbers stand in the top 4 in the Telugu States. Adipurush has an excellent opening in the Telugu States. It is very good in the Telugu States and Karnataka, while the collections are disappointing in Tamilnadu and Kerala.
