Royal Challengers Bangalore held their nerves opposite to that of what they are known for. The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore was a low-scoring thriller. Batting first, KKR hasn’t had a good start. All their batters got out to some good bowling by RCB.

Especially, the way Willey, Siraj, Akash Deep handled the new ball is fantastic. KKR is down to 67 for 6 in just 9 overs. Hadn’t it been the closing of Russell, Umesh, Chakravarthy, KKR could be bundled out for a much lower score. Wanindu Hasaranga was the star bowler picking out four wickets for 20 runs.

In reply, RCB replied quite similarly. du Plessis, Anuj Rawat, Kohli fell quite cheaply as well. Umesh Yadav, Tim Southee went through some fiery bowling. They both shared five wickets between them.
