IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore batted first on the slow and tacky surface of Lucknow and could only manage 127 runs. Faf Du Plessis is the star of the innings scoring 44 in 40 balls. While everyone thought 127 is an under-par score, Lucknow Super Giants thought the score was a mammoth for them. LSG had a huge setback as KL Rahul injured himself while fielding and couldn’t bat.

Ayush Badoni opened innings with Kyle Mayers and the West Indian star batter went out for a duck. Badoni struggled to get going and Krunal Pandya couldn’t add much. LSG lost four wickets inside the powerplay and RCB bowlers were superb in choking the batsman.

RCB successfully managed to keep a lid on the scoring and at the same time picked wickets at regular intervals. By the time KL Rahul came to bat at the end, it was all but over. RCB finally managed to win the match by 18 runs.
