After the BCCI’s 91st Annual General Meeting in Mumbai, Secretary Jay Shah has assured that India will not be traveling to Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup which will be played in the 50-over format. Jay Shah said, “I am saying this in the capacity of ACC (Asian Cricket Council) President. The Asia Cup will be played at a neutral venue. It’s been obvious. We can’t go there and they can’t come here. Asia Cup is being played at neutral venues and will continue to be,” he stated.
This has turned viral and everyone were now waiting for Pakistan’s response. A close source to the Pakistan team stated that the team will pull out of the 2023 ODI World Cup which will be hosted by India if they will not travel to Pakistan. A senior PCB official who preferred to be anonymous has stated to a popular website that they are ready to take harsh decisions.
