America is the most developed country across the globe in all fields. Most nations and their citizens look forward to America’s progress. Indians also fall into the same category. We all know that these days, at least one youngster from every Indian family is flying off to the US for either higher studies or better job opportunities. Do you believe it if it is said that more than 28 lakh Indians are residing in America currently? Here are the stats as per the latest survey.

It was said in a recent survey that 28 lakh plus (to be precise, 28,31,330 in number) Indians are living in America currently. There has been a huge increase in this number in recent years, with 66,000 Indians settling in America in 2022 alone.

As per the statistics, Indians stand in second place next to Mexicans as having the highest number of foreigners in the US. There are 1.38 crore Mexican Americans in the total 33 crore of the US population. These stats are official from the American Community Survey.

This survey also adds that 42 percent of Indo Americans are still waiting for their green cards to get official American citizenship by the end of 2023.
