Mumbai Indians are known to be slow starters. They have lost starting matches in the past and they have repeated the same this season as well. Their match against Rajasthan Royals ended up rather one-sided. Surya Kumar Yadav missed out on this match as well and it seemed a back punch for the season’s favorites.

Rohit Sharma after winning the toss has opted to bowl first, the customary thing this IPL. However, Rajasthan Royals batted positively making the most of the conditions. It’s Jos Buttler special as he brought his century, the first this season. RR batting first has scored a massive 193. This seemed a par score only. Hetmyer special of scoring 35 in just 14 balls made it possible along with Buttler’s century.

In reply, MI lost Rohit Sharma, and Anmol Preet Singh early. Ishan Kishan scored a half-century but that came at a slow pace. The youngster Tilak Varma has impressed one and all. He scored 61 in just 33 balls but none of the batters complimented him. As a result, MI lost the match by 23 runs.
