Kolkata Knight Riders are fighting for survival. A loss today means KKR will become the second team to get eliminated. Mumbai Indians on the other hand, after losing 8 matches in a row have won two matches in a row and are proving a point. Batting looks like the prime concern for KKR. They are failing collectively. Apart from sparks of form for Shreyas Iyer, Russell, and Nitish Rana, nothing is working in favor of them. The opening is their biggest concern. KKR has tried different combinations to the least success.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand will think that they should give more chances to Tim David. He has proved his worth in both the recent matches. Their batting looks settled now apart from Pollard. Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith’s bowling looks set as well.

Probable XIs of both the teams

MI: Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Kieron Pollard, Tim David, Daniel Sams, Murugan Ashwin, Kumar Kartikeya, Jasprit Bumrah, Riley Meredith

KKR: Aaron Finch, Venkatesh Iyer/Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana, Sheldon Jackson, Andre Russell, Aman Khan/Anukul Roy, Sunil Narine, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Shivam Mavi.
