Delhi Capitals is one of the busiest teams in the auctions with them attempting every other important player. They have indeed tried their best to bring back the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Kagiso Rabada, etc., but they have failed to grab either of them. However, Delhi Capitals can boast they have the best top 4 for this season.
With Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Marsh, they have a very strong top order. The left-right combination of these 4 is an added advantage. However, with the overseas options taken at the top, this season is going to be different from the previous one as Anrich Nortje is the only overseas fast bowling option they can afford.
On the other hand, having Shardul Thakur, Axar Patel will provide the cushion of having depth in the batting order.
