details of Land Titling Act in AP

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy brought a new land ownership act (Land Titling Act) in 2022. It was approved by the Indian President Draupadi Murmu in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is ready to be implemented and the analysts are predicting that all this is happening according to a plan.

According to the Land Titling Act… The Government appoints the Title Registration Officer (TRO) and all immovable properties belonging to the public will fall under that TRO. The registration system, revenue system, and justice system, which provided services related to lands for 75 years, are going to be closed soon after this Land Titling Act comes into existence.

If this is implemented, you need to get permission from the TRO to transfer the land to your heirs and daughters. The officer’s permission is required to sell the property for your needs. If you take out a mortgage to recover the arrears, it must be registered with the above-said officer. If you want to go to court on land, you have to submit the NOC issued by TRO. But if your property is entered in the register of disputes by the TRO, you cannot challenge it in the lower court except in the High Court.
