Cricket Australia is back to playing tests after their dominant Ashes victory. They will be touring Pakistan for the tests which will be their first in 24 years. Cricket Australia has picked a full-strength squad for this tour. However, no player yet has drawn themselves out of the squad citing safety concerns. It is said that New Zealand and England pull out their squads after the safety concerns in Pakistan.

Pat Cummins who proved himself as an effective captain will lead the side. Australia’s squad has no surprising additions or omissions. Jhye Richardson misses out on the squad in the process of managing his workload keeping in mind his injury history. Micheal Neser who impressed in the Ashes completes the five fast bowling options.

Australia has bolstered their spin attack in the squad by adding Ashton Agar to the squad. Mitchell Swepson and Nathan Lyon are the two other options. Opener Marcus Harris too managed to hold his spot.
