All five movies that have announced their release dates for the Sankranthi festivals have confirmed that they are not backing out. The Producers’ Council tried to intervene and sort out the issue but no Sankranthi film was willing to move out of the race. All the films have confirmed their release dates once again on the eve of the New Year.
Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Teja Sajja – Prashant Varma’s HanuMan will be released on January 12th. Ravi Teja’s Eagle and Venkatesh’s Saindhav will hit the screens on January 13th. Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga will be the last movie to enter the race as it releases on January 14th.
With all the five films in the race, as much as Rs. 250 Crores will be at the stake. Guntur Kaaram is theatrically valued at Rs. 150 Crores and is one of the biggest films in 2024.
