Actor Naresh is back in the zone of comedy movies again. After doing serious roles in the last 2-3 years in the films Naandhi, Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam, and Ugram, Naresh is now shifting gears into his strong zone. Naresh’s upcoming film is titled Aa Okkati Adakku, the popular title that worked out for his father, EVV Satyanarayana, in delivering a classic blockbuster.

Allari Naresh is very busy promoting the film Aa Okkati Adakku, currently ahead of its release on May 3, 2024. During the film’s promotions, Naresh shared some of his past experiences in an interview.

Allari Naresh is the only current-generation actor who has worked with both the legendary Telugu movie directors Bapu and K Viswanath. Being a comedy movie actor (with that kind of image), it is very difficult to be a part of the worlds of those legendary filmmakers. But it is purely Naresh’s acting skills; he grabbed chances in their films. Naresh was the lead of Bapu’s Sundarakanda and Viswanath’s Subhapradam.

Bapu watched Kithakithalu a couple of times and loved Naresh’s performance in the film. Also, he appreciated Naresh in person for just sticking to the film’s narrative and taking the brave step to cast Geetha Singh as the female lead. This is where Bapu liked Naresh’s taste and maturity in his choices regarding the movies. So, Bapu casted Naresh in his film Sundarakanda.

On the other hand, K. Viswanath was searching for a boy next door and a simple actor on screen for the lead in Subhapradam. Viswanath thought that Naresh was exactly that kind of actor and casted him in the film. Viswanath was very impressed with Naresh when he delivered a 6-page dialogue scene in a single take with multiple actions in between, just in a span of 30 minutes.

Allari Naresh feels so blessed and honored, even today, for his working and learning experiences with legends Bapu and Viswanath.
