A couple of days back the news came out that the Indian soldiers and the People Liberation Army (PLA) led by China had an altercation at the border, Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh where the soldiers from the sides sustained minor injuries. It is said that around 100 soldiers from the Indian side and 300+ soldiers from China had a fight at the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
Now, a video is being circulated on social media stating that this is the video of the altercation that happened at the border. In the video, we can see the Indian soldiers preventing the Chinese soldiers with wooden sticks and metal rods from entering the border and also changing the border line.
However, it is unclear whether the video is the actual one or an old one. Union Defense minister Rajnath Singh made a statement in Parliament regarding the incident. He accused China of changing the status quo at the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
