Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s action entertainer Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi’s wholesome entertainer Waltair Veerayya are competing at the box office for this Sankranthi. While Veera Simha Reddy is releasing on January 12th, Waltair will come a day later i.e., on January 13th.
The pre-sales started for the US audiences and the response for both these movies is amazing. Veera Simha Reddy currently had a slight edge over Waltair Veerayya. While Veera Simha Reddy collected $125K from the pre-sales so far, Waltair Veerayya had $105K in his pocket from the pre-sales. The numbers are going to alter as the release dates approach based on the trailer content.

Thunivu: $45k
Both Varisu and Thunivu will be released on January 12th, an official confirmation is awaited though.
