Kavya Kalyanram made her mark with the smashing hit Balagam. Before that, she did the horror thriller Masooda which is her debut. Despite a non-primary role, she made a mark but Balagam was her breakthrough film. Post Balagam, Kavya Kalyanram has been getting interesting offers. She will be next seen in the project Ustaad which has Sri Simha Koduri in the lead role. The film is up for release and during the promotions of the movie, the actress explained how she was body shamed.
Actually, acting is not new for Kavya. She played numerous characters as a child artist. But when she decided to become a heroine, that is when problems started for her. During the promotions of Ustaad, the actress revealed that she was body shamed for being chubby. Producers and Directors made remarks that I am not in the right shape to be a heroine.
However, the actress ignored these remarks and moved on, and finally, her hard work is paying off.
