Though it hasn’t been announced officially, Prabhas’s next movie Salaar which was scheduled for a September 28th release has been officially postponed. The new release date will be announced very soon after the producers meet the distributors. With September 28th being an extended holiday weekend, Skanda is quick to grab the release date.
Skanda features Ram Pothineni in the lead role. Sreeleela is the heroine of the flick and Blockbuster filmmaker Boyapati Srinu has directed the movie. Skanda was initially planned and promoted for the September 15th release and now it will be postponed for two weeks to enjoy the extended weekend holiday advantage.
A new poster with the official release date is out already. There is a huge buzz around Skanda and the theatrical and non-theatrical rights of the movie were sold for a bomb. SS Thaman has composed music for the movie.
