Ustaad Ram Pothineni scored a flop with Skanda, and Dashing director Puri Jagannath scored a disaster with Liger. They both have teamed up for the project Double iSmart. It is the sequel to the blockbuster hit Ismart Shankar which is in their combination. For the past few days, there have been several rumors that the shoot of the film has stalled due to financial hurdles.
However, those were untrue and as per the latest update, the majority of the shoot has happened in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Three songs were composed by music director Manisharma and those were shot already. Currently, the music sittings are happening between Manisharma and Puri Jagannath. These two songs will be shot in special sets in Hyderabad.
Sanjay Dutt plays the lead antagonist and the shooting of his part is wrapped up. The remaining 20 percent of the shoot is expected to be completed by February end. The release date of Double iSmart was announced on March 8th but the makers are also considering a Summer release.
