The Will Smith – Chris Rock gate has shocked everyone. Whatever Chris Rock has spoken of, Will Smith has crossed the boundary by smacking him publicly, on stage, and that too on a stage like the Oscars. Will Smith felt the same. He apologized publicly. He shared an Instagram post where he said, he regrets for his actions.
He stated that Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable, he said.
“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness,” He posted.
He has also apologized to the Academy, the producers of the show, and to all the attendees. He concluded the post by saying, “I am a work in progress. Sincerely, Will.”
