It is the most exciting news for Telugu Cinema lovers. The song Naatu Naatu from the movie RRR is shortlisted as the Official entry for the Original Song. As per the list, Naatu Naatu will be competing with the 14 other songs in the list. Out of the 81 other songs, a total of 15 songs have been shortlisted. MM Keeravani, Rahul Sipligunj, and Kaala Bhairava will be competing with some celebrated names across the world.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the shortlisted films in their respective categories. Another Indian film Chhello Show has been nominated in the International Feature Film category. It is India’s official selection.
There will be voting for the nominated films which will take place between January 12th and January 17th. The nominations will be announced on January 24th. The celebrated event of the Academy Awards will take place on March 12th, 2023 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
