Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals have named their captains for the Indian Premier League 2023. Sunrisers Hyderabad was without their captain as the team management released Kane Williamson ahead of the auctions and now they have named Aiden Markram as the captain of the side. Markram recently led Sunrisers Eastern Cape to the inaugural win in the SA20 and is more than happy to helm the job for SRH.
For Delhi Capitals, it is more of an unfortunate thing as Pant faced a traumatic accident and will miss the season. Delhi Capitals named David Warner as the captain for the season and Axar Patel as his deputy. The management took the decision as Pant will be returning to the fore next season and this year was more of a fill-up.
David Warner has his share of experience as he led SRH for four and half seasons and eventually had a fallout with the management in 2021.
