A close source reveals that Shreyas Iyer has opted for back surgery which will make him miss the action for at least three months. He will be flying to London very soon for the same. Shreyas Iyer is suffering from a back injury for some time. The injury is said to be disc related.
It is said that Shreyas Iyer had delayed the decision on surgery to see if the options for conservative treatment are open. After exhausting all the options, Shreyas has now decided to opt for surgery. The date for the surgery is still not known yet.
