After losing a crucial match against New Zealand, India bounced back strong against the West Indies. India ticked many boxes in this high-scoring innings as the main concern, batting, is sorted out to an extent. India’s star batters Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur came out with flying colors scoring quick hundreds taking the score to a record 317 in the 50 overs. Though towards the fag end of the innings, India suffered from losing wickets, it is already an above-par score.

West Indies, however, replied in a strong manner. Particularly, Dottin scored a quickfire fifty. She scored 62 in just 46 balls taking WI to 100 in just 12 overs. However, Sneh Rana took her wicket with a beauty, Meghna Singh contributed with a superb catch and there was no looking back for India from thereon.

West Indies lost wickets in a cluster. India gave timely blows and wrapped up the WI innings for just 162. India wins by a big 155 runs. Smriti Mandhana has been adjudged player of the match for her 123.
