Royal Challengers Bangalore has started very positively this season but is slowly going into the same old loop. RCB has yesterday faced another humiliating loss. With back-to-back losses, RCB is currently in a spot of bother. RCB’s batting woes continue as they failed to chase down a moderate total of 145.
Batting first, Rajasthan Royals’ weakness has been exposed as well. Jos Buttler fell early and the batting collapsed eventually. If not for Riyan Parag’s brilliant half-century, RR could have lost the match halfway down. He provided RR a fighting total.
Virat Kohli was promoted to open the innings but that didn’t change his low-scoring form. Faf du Plessis, Maxwell got out in consecutive balls. Rajat Patidar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Prabhudessai, and Karthik all failed to make any impact. Eventually, RCB got bundled out for 115. Kuldeep Sen, Prasidh Krishna, and Ashwin were among the wickets. With this win, RR finds themselves at the top of the table.
