Can India restrict Australia to a less lead?

The third test between India and Australia rather started on a weird note. It is expected that India will dominate the proceedings but it is the other way around. Winning the toss and choosing to bat first, India succumbed to spin and low bounce. None of the players scored in excess of 25 which means India got bundled out for a mere 109.

In reply, Australia’s reply is rather positive. By the end of day one, Australia scored 156 for the loss of four wickets which means they are in a lead of 47 runs already. If Australia could manage to post another 100 runs that will be a huge setback for the Indian team who are looking to win the match and find a place in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

Ravindra Jadeja is the pick of the bowlers for India as he picked all four wickets. Australia has Peter Handscomb and Cameron Green in the crease. We have to wait and see how day 2 will unfold.
