Team India limited formats opener Shubhman Gill who missed the first two matches in the World Cup due to Dengue fever has recovered and has been participating in the nets session. However, it is still unclear whether Gill would get the go-ahead for the all-important clash. The 24-year-old stylish batsman had an extensive session in Ahmedabad where the match is going to be played.
It is said that on Thursday, Gill arrived at the Narendra Modi Stadium at around 11 AM and spent an hour. He began with warm-up exercises and practiced on the grounds adjacent to the main ground. Gill spent around half an hour at the batting nets. We have to wait and see whether Dravid and Co. decide to bring him in or not.
In other news, the BCCI has confirmed that there will be a cultural program on Saturday afternoon. The show is scheduled to last for over 30 minutes.
