Today marks the 13th death anniversary of former United Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The great leader is known for his reforms and development. YSR is always regarded as an agriculture-inclined CM. He is instrumental in bringing up 108, fee reimbursement, etc., among many others.
Today Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has paid tributes to his father. He paid floral tributes at the YSR ghat. Along with YS Jagan, his mother Vijayamma, his wife Bharati Reddy, and his sister Sharmila were also there. A large number of well-wishers, party leaders, and others participated in the prayer meeting.
YS Jagan took to Twitter to pay respects to his father. His tweet reads, “Even though my father is physically gone, his smile and memories remain. Defining welfare in the history of the country, he said that the needs of the people should be the main focus of governance. This government will continue to take steps inspired by my father in every step.”
నాన్న భౌతికంగా దూరమైనా నేటికీ ఆయన చిరునవ్వు, ఆ జ్ఞాపకాలు అలానే నిలిచి ఉన్నాయి. దేశచరిత్రలోనే సంక్షేమాన్ని సరికొత్తగా నిర్వచించి.. ప్రజల అవసరాలే పాలనకు ప్రధానాంశం కావాలని ఆయన చాటిచెప్పారు. ప్రతి అడుగులోనూ నాన్నే స్ఫూర్తిగా ఇకపై కూడా ఈ ప్రభుత్వం అడుగులు వేస్తుంది.
