Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has extended his support to the Presidential candidate NDA announced Droupadi Murmu who hails from ST community.
YS Jagan on this occasion felt that it falls along the same lines as his beliefs – to give support to the SC, ST, BC, and the other minority communities. Jagan has also given more representation to these communities in his cabinet. Almost 70 percent of his cabinet are from the above-said communities.
Droupadi Murmu, if wins the elections, will become the first tribal woman to become the President of India. However, it is said that Jagan will not be able to attend the filling nomination program by Droupadi Murmu as he has already scheduled a cabinet meeting. However, he will be sending Rajya Sabha member Vijaysai Reddy and Lok Sabha member Midhun Reddy for the nomination program.
