The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials are acting aggressively in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Today they are questioning Kalvakuntla Kavitha, Telangana MLC, and daughter of the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Along with her, Arun Pillai, a Hyderabad-based businessman and also who claimed to be the representative of Kavitha is being questioned.
Arun Pillai, as per the ED, and its statements represent the South group in the Delhi Excise Policy case. ED in its statement mentioned that the group gave kickbacks of Rs. 100 Crores to AAP leaders which were allegedly used in Goa elections. Pillai is currently in the ED’s judicial custody and Kavitha was summoned by the central agency.
According to the latest update, their statements are recorded under section 50 of PMLA. A woman deputy director official is recording the testimony of Kalvakuntla Kavitha. It is also known that Delhi Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by ED in the same case.
