As per the breaking reports from the political circles, Former MLC, daughter of Ex-Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao – K Kavitha has been arrested a while ago by the Enforcement Directoriate. The arrest was made in connection to the Delhi Liquor Scam Case and she has been taken into custody with immediate effect.
The ED officials started to raid the house of Kavitha and it continued for hours. After the first round of searches, the officials have taken the decision to take her into custody and a memo has been issued to her. As per the officials, the arrest was made at 5:20 PM.
This is such a huge setback for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi who are already on the backfoot with the loss in assembly elections and nothing is going positive in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. BRS leaders and supporters came in large numbers at the Kavitha’s residence and raised ‘Down Down Modi’ slogans.
BRS top leaders Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao reached the spot but they were not allowed inside by the officials. KTR could be seen arguing with the ED officials and questioning them on how they could arrest Kavitha without any transit order.
