Majority of the Indian students dream to study higher education in foreign countries and settle thereafter. However, student visas are getting rejected. A lot number of applications are getting rejected. Indian students are taking shortcuts with the intention of getting easy visas.
They are applying with fake certificates and bank statements with the aim of getting a visa. At the end of the immigration, the authorities are getting cross-eyed. Students from Punjab and Haryana are in the front row doing these kinds of scams. In the year 2020-21, more than 600 students from these two states were caught in immigration. At the same time, the Canadian High Commission revealed that 2500 visa applications were rejected.
On the other hand, Canada‘s Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration revealed that around 41 percent of visa applications were rejected. Before COVID times, only 15 percent of visas were rejected.
