A New York grand jury has indicted Ex-United States President Donald Trump over hush money payments made to a porn star during his 2016 election campaign. The issue landed in court over a sex scandal involving Stormy Daniels, a 44-year-old adult movie actress.
With this, he becomes the first Ex-President to face criminal charges. Sources say that he might be arrested. However, Donald Trump denied all the charges and accused Democrats of engaging in a witch-hunt against him.
Trump stated that the people can see through the democrats’ actions and their plan will backfire badly on President Joe Biden. He even criticized Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg and called him a disgrace.
Donald Trump is the frontrunner to be the Republican nominee in the 2024 elections but with the current indictment, the doubts loom large.
