Tech giant Microsoft is likely to layoffs thousands of employees starting today says a report. The company will cut off its employees from various positions in the global workforce.
Bloomberg News reported that Microsoft is all set to announce layoffs in its engineering division. The report further said that a Microsoft spokesperson hasn’t stroked off the news as rumors which further strengthens the speculations. The layoffs are not new to this computer industry stalwart. The employees have seen twice layoffs already in the last year and this time at least thousands of its employees will be removed from the workforce.
Tech companies are following a similar path with layoffs being implemented everywhere. We have seen Amazon announcing the work reduction of 18,000 jobs due to uncertainty in the economy.
