The Tech giant Microsoft has announced yet another layoff. It is well known that Microsoft announced a significant layoff of 10,000 employees earlier this year and as a part of it, as many as 276 employees were given pink slips off late. The problematic aspect is that all the employees are from Microsoft’s Washington office. Laying off close to 300 employees from one office is definitely a panicking factor for the techies.
Microsoft has stated that the layoffs are a part of its organizational workforce management and adjustment. The company made it clear that it intends to adjust its workforce to suit the financial position of the company.
Other tech giants like Amazon, Google, and Twitter have also been continuing to cut off their employee workforce citing the recession. The layoffs in the software field are going to continue for the coming months, say the experts. These are indeed tough times.
