The unavailability of Indian batsman KL Rahul is continuing. The batter has missed the 2nd, 3rd, and the 4th tests due to his injury. KL Rahul is said to be 90 percent fit for the third test in Rajkot and as per the latest update, he hasn’t fully recovered. After reassessing his situation, the managers of NCA have decided to send KL Rahul overseas for an expert opinion and he has been undergoing treatment for a week.
It is well known that KL Rahul underwent surgery for his right quadriceps last year. It is understood that there is still some stiffness. So without taking any risks, the selectors gave him rest. With India clinching the series already 3-1, the management is thinking of giving some rest to the key players for the final test which will be played in Dharamshala. So, KL Rahul is likely to miss the final test and there is still no clarity on the availability of Jasprit Bumrah.
