The Andhra Pradesh High Court has given a huge relief to NRI Yashasvi. Bodduluri Yashasvi hails from Tenali in Guntur district. He has returned recently to see his ailing mother and spend some time with her. AP CID Police got the information and took him into custody at the Shamshabad airport. He was detained and taken to the AP CID office. After hours of questioning, Yashasvi was asked to come back on January 17th.

The CID officials seized his passport as well. Yashasvi then filed a petition in the High Court and the verdict came out that he should be handed over his passport.

Justice P S Bhanumathi after hearing the arguments opined that the AP CID didn’t follow the protocols of CRPC while seizing the passport. She has given her verdict to hand over his passport and allow him to get it renewed.
