After a couple of good weeks, Telugu Film Industry had to face a disastrous weekend. A medium-budget movie and a small-budget flick were released last weekend and sadly both the movies had to face mediocre reviews. Vaisshnav Tej’s Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga and Anudeep’s First Day First Show were released last Friday among a couple of other small movies. Sadly, all the films haven’t got any decent response.
With the initial talk, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga and First Day First Show got, the collections dropped drastically and there are no takers for these movies. Even Vikram’s Cobra failed to attract Telugu audiences even though it has performed decently at the Tamil box office.
Overall, it is a disastrous weekend for the Telugu Cinema. Now, all the eyes are on the biggie Brahmastra which is promoted aggressively down the South as well. Brahmastra is getting released on September 9th.
