Weekend BO: Last weekend has been poor for the TFI. Two noted films were released last weekend and both of them opened to poor numbers. Especially, Gopichand’s family drama Rama Banam was a total dud. The film has been lased out by the critics and even the response has been poor as well. The other film Ugram which starred Allari Naresh in the lead role had better reviews but the collections are low.
The bright aspect here is that the film has a lower target. Ugram needs only Rs. 6 Crores for the breakeven but this number looks distant now. Ugram managed to collect only Rs. 2 Crore share by the end of the weekend. With the drops already so high, it is unlikely that the movie will breach the breakeven.
For Rama Banam, Rs. 15 Crores is the target but the film has only collected Rs. 2.5 Crores so far.
