Nikhil Siddhartha after scoring a blockbuster with Karthikeya 2 released a thriller SPY on the Pan-Indian level. SPY had huge expectations before the release and the openings were too good as well. In fact, this is the highest opening in the career of Nikhil Siddhartha. However, the movie couldn’t sustain itself due to negative WOM and reviews. The collections fizzled out and the movie is looking out at a disastrous result.
Nikhil Siddhartha apologized to the audience for the untimely release. He opined that had he had more time in hand, the output would be of more quality and he had ample time for promotions. The fact is that Nikhil did ask the producers to postpone the film for better output but they didn’t listen.
It did turn factual as there is a delay in content to reach the destinations which resulted in the cancellation of many shows. However, Nikhil promised that it will not be repeated for his next 3 projects which are Pan-Indian. “My next three films will have proper Pan-Indian release,” he said.
