Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 is maintaining decent buzz. Surprisingly, the film’s content is attracting Hindi audiences. Nikhil is promoting the film on a big scale. He is confident that Karthikeya 2 will hit the right chords. After a few postponements, Karthikeya 2 is finally hitting the screens on August 13th.
Nikhil has already clarified that there will be no connection between Karthikeya 1 and 2, only the character carries its journey. Many have raised doubts over why Swathi, who is the heroine for the first part isn’t continued for the sequel.
Nikhil has clarified this doubt. “There is nothing that we haven’t approached Swathi. Actually, the story takes an entirely new path in the sequel. After completing the medical course, Karthikeya finds some other interesting aspects and starts his journey to the North. We wanted a north-like heroine and felt Anupama best suits the role,” he clarified.
